~Fantasy in Reality Special- Fantasies Start By Thinking of You~

Disclaimer: The recognisable characters from Cardcaptor Sakura do not belong to me, they belong to Clamp. I only own characters like Jadeite, Kou, Shingo and Akino, I also own the measly story-plot. So don't take that away from me as well.

(Daidouji Estate)
It was night in Tokyo. It was well known that Tokyo had a very exciting night life. Tonight certainly lived up to its name. The sounds of sirens pierced the usually silent night of the neighbourhood. News vans were crowding the street to get some juicy gossip to satisfy the eternal want of 'knowledge' of the human nature. Tonight's menu, a foiled kidnapping attempt on the Chief of Tokyo's Police Force's (Haru Daidouji) daughter, Tomoyo Daidouji. It was said to be foiled by special agents hired by the Chief himself. In fact, those special agents had advised to keep the matter under wraps, causing every new reporter to be turned away, and an unsatisfactory amount of information to be known.

In a nearby clump of trees, four figures in black stood gracefully on branches each of a different tree. All of them were obseving the scene with their sunglass shaded eyes. Finally, on of them looked up, he's long black hair swinging. Every movement was laced with authority. He was the leader of the pack. He signalled to the rest. They all nodded, agreeing to some unknown command. They all leapt up, dissapearing between the shadows, and into the night.

(Senzai Street- House No. 1)
The house was silent, and not a breath stired. The four black figures mysteriously appeared. The only female in the group leapt up to one of the lower window stills and opened it. They all leapt in. The last person shut the window and drew the curtains.

Once they were sure everything was secure, they started to shed off their costumes.

"Phew, this device was starting to hurt." Shingo commented as her removed the much hated telephaty device.

"Man, that brown-haired agent really packs a punch." Meilin groaned as she rubbed the gigantic bruise forming on her stomach.

"I agree. But you only got the blunt end of her. That very agent tried to kill me with spikes attacted to her boots." Syaoran gestured to the several tears in his clothes.

"Hey. The agent I was dealing with tried to slice me with a bracelet with spikes!" Kou put his hands akimbo.

"Okay, okay, you win." Shingo raised his hands to the sky.

"I'm going to take a shower." Meilin yawned.

"Okay." Shingo muttered.

"And don't walk into the bathroom when I'm bathing again." Meilin bonked Shingo across the head.

"That was an accident!" Shingo defended.

"Yeah, right. I believe you." Meilin muttered sacarstically before strutting into the bathroom.

Shingo's face turned beet red while Syaoran and Kou snickered.

"Well, I'm going to train in the backyard." Syaoran got up and walked out of the backdoor.

"I'm going to relax on the roof." Kou started to walk up the stairs.

"And I'm all alone again." Shingo sighed and switched on the television.

(Backyard)
Syaoran was training. He face held a mixture of concentration and exhilaration. It was only when he was training that he felt free. He wasn't an assassin part of the dark underworld, or a junior-high school prince which everyone sought after. He was just a fourteen year old boy trying to relief his stress.

After a while, he rested, dripping with perspiration. Above, the moon in its crescent hung in the the night sky. Around it, stars twinkled brightly. Today, the moon did not outshin the stars or vice versa. They were equal in brightness, which was a rare sight. As he stared up, he found himself focusing on the stars, not the moon as he usually did. He frowned. Somehow, the stars reminded him of her, the agent he had fought with just this magical night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Flashback)
Two black clad figures stood on the top of the tiled roof. The stars were twinkling brightly that night, as if to outshine the moon in a contest. The moon was doing it's best as well, gleaming as brightly as it could. But so far, no one was winning. It was 0 to 0, the odds were even.
The two black clad figures fought like there was no tomorrow. Kick, block, punch, block, dodge, kick, punch and block. The two figures moved in scinth (?) as if in a warrior dance, creating a lovely effect.
Syaoran growled, How much longer is this going to take? It would have usually ended much earlier...
Knowing our dear Sakura, who was perfectly coordinated, and who could always make last minute decisions, but who could never think and act at the same time without having an accident, she tripped.
Squeezing her eyes shut, she waited for the impact.
There was a sound of a body landing of the tiles. Then, there was silence. Sakura lay there, still groggy from the impact.
Sakura sighed when she felt no pain, only the shock of falling, wait, but there's nothing soft on the roof except...
Sakura opened her eyes. Amber-brown orbs stared back into her emerald ones.
"AH!!!!!!!!!" Sakura screamed and ran to the other side of the roof.
AH!!!!!!!! She molested me! Syaoran mentally screamed in his head, wishing he could scream out loud as well.
"Okay." Sakura said after a few minutes of panting, "Let's forget about this whole accident and pretend it never happened. Agreed?"
Syaoran nodded furiously, more than happy to accept.
Sakura aimed a kick at Syaoran, starting the whole routine again.
(End of Flashback)
(Author: P.S I edited this part abit. There are no thoughts from Sakura. Okay?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Syaoran reached into his pocket, fingering a certain pink hair-ribbon. The thought of the accident was making his heart go wild. He's face heated up and he felt funny. In fact, he felt that he wanted to feel that small, slim, fragile frame against his...

Syaoran mentally slapped his head. What am I thinking? Argh!

Syaoran picked himself up and started to practice again, his face still burning, but not from the training.

(Daidouji Estate- Sakura's and Jadeite's room)
"Achoo!" Sakura let out a sneeze.

"You okay? Did you catch a flu?" Jadeite asked worriedly, looking up from the book she was reading.

"No. I feel fine. That was weird." Sakura frowned.

"You can say that again." Jadeite commented, returning to her book.

(Senzai Street, House No. 1- Roof)
A young man of 14 stretched out on the warm tiles of the roof. His long black hair was pulled back with a plain black rubber band into a long ponytail. The moon shone its gentle light down on him and the quiet night wind caressed his face as it passed by. The stars twinkled brightly, lighting up the dark sky. Without a doubt, that was how they earned their title- Diamonds of the sky.

Something metallic glinted in his hand. It was a dagger, with its hilt engraved with a moon, a sun and a star, the three celestial bodies. He fingered the design, thinking of a certain someone he had jus fought with earlier on.

(Flashback)
//We've got to go!// Shingo's voice pounded into Kou's head, causing it to throb.

But how? Kou was fiercely engaged in the fight with Jadeite.

Kou tried to kick or punch her away to get him some space to run, but Jadeite only inched closer.

Suddenly, he spotted Shingo and Meilin jump out of the window and flee. Jadeite saw them too. Her head spun. She froze, allowing Kou to land a kick at her side.

Jadeite flew and landed, skidding. clutching her side in pain. Still, she ignored the pain and got up, her eyes still fixed on the two fleeing figures. She started to run towards them.

Kou's eyes widened upon enlightenment, Shit! She thinks that Shingo and Meilin have Tomoyo!

Kou chased after Jadeite and grabbed her ankle just as she tried to leap up from the ground. and into the trees. Jadeite mouthed a silent cry as she felt herself fall back to earth.

Jadeite used her free leg to kick off Kou's hand. Reaching beneath her jacket, she pulled out a knife and threw it Kou.

Expecting her to use that move, Kou dodged and grabbed the handle. Jadeite reacted quickly and charged towards Kou, trying to get the knife back.

A fierce struggle ensured. As Jadeite wildly punched and swiped, she accidently knocked off Kou's glasses. Time froze. Shaded eyes started into icy blue. Jadeite found herself quite unable to move as she sank deeper and deeper into those hypnotising blue eyes. She mistakenly let go and let her hand fall to her side. Kou was surprised. This wasn't what a agent would usually do. But, he took his chance, netherless, and fled.

Jadeite stood motionless as Kou ran away. Her eyes glossy even as Kou disappeared into the trees. All that filled her mind was those piercing blue eyes.

(End of Flashback)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kou shook his head, what was he thinking? He was here on the roof, so he thought he might as well do some spying on Daidouji. The house was conviently close to the Daidouji Estate, just across the road, a few blocks away. He pulled out a sliver telescope and fixed his gaze on the house, but his mind could not help wandering back to her...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Daidouji Estate- Jadeite's and Sakura's room)
"Achoo!" Jadeite sneezed violently.

"Bless you!" Sakura exclaimed.

"That was weird..." Jadeite raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. First, I sneeze, than you." Sakura laughed, "I'm going to see if my uniform's dry."

"Fine by me." Jadeite returned to her book.

"Later." Sakura said quietly as whe shut the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Laundry Room)
"Aww... it's not dry yet." Sakura's shoulders sagged as she felt her still-wet school uniform.
"Oh well." Sakura sighed and twirled a lock of her hair.
A sudden gust of wind blew her hair into her face, and she struggled to get it neat again. She frowned as she remembered the cause of her un-tied hair. The assassin she had fought earlier had taken her ribbon.
And it was my favourite ribbon too... She mused angrily, But at least I got my revenge.
She reached into her pocket. There was the necklace with the fang pendant. She had snatched it from that assassin.
Hmm... He wasn't bad at fighting and his body was quite muscular, though I wish I could see more of his face. Sakura mused.
"What am I thinking? I must be crazy." Sakura slapped her head angrily.
She plopped herself down onto a bench seat near her uniform and waited for it to dry. But as she gazed towards the moon beyond the glass window, she unwittingly turned the thoughts to him...
(Senzai Street, House 1- Backyard)
"Achoo!" Syaoran suddenly sneezed in the middle of a stance, causing hime to loose his balance and fall on his backside.
He rubbed his butt in pain, "Ow..."
"Something most probably got into my nose." Syaoran muttered as he got up to train again.
(Daidouji Estate- Jadeite's and Sakura's Room)
Jadeite reached the end of her book. It was fantasy themed just as she liked it. It was about a conspiracy within the royal family who wanted to overthrow Princess Tohru, in order to gain the throne. She has to join together with the elf clan in order to reunite her with her lost love,before her assassins find her first. (This is a real story on fanfiction.net, I'll share the link with you later) It was a dreamy book which Jadeite enjoyed very much.
Jadeite sighed as she stared out of the window. The moon and stars smiled down on her and was reflected in her viridian eyes. She always have had an afinity with them. But strangely, she found herself staring at the moon in a different way. A sort of longing pang in her heart. Was it because of that assassin?
Jadeite's eyes furrowed as she relived the scene. Just before he left, she had managed to knock of his sunglasses. She had gotten a glimps of his eyes. They were an icy blue colour. Cold and hard.
She stared at the black tinted shades that she had retrived without knowing it. It now stood on her drawing table beside her bed.
I wonder why I had just stood there. I would have usually chased after him... Jadeite puzzled over the thought, turning her eyes to the moon.
Hmm... that twin wolf. He was so good at fighting. Dodging my knives and all, he certainly lives up to his name! And his eyes, they were so luminous. But they seemed to be filled with pain and lonelyness... He mad me felt like comforting him... Jadeite stopped short, What am I thinking. Must be lack of sleep.
Jadeite kept her book and climbed into her bed. But as she reached up for the light switch, she found herself staring at the moon, thinking of him...
"Achoo." Kou let out a small sneeze.
He covered his nose in surprise, "That's weird, it isn't even that cold."
He shook his head and returned to spying on the Daidouji Estate. In his lap, something glinted in the moonlight, catching his attention. It was the knife.
This knife... That lovely black hair...
(Backyard)
Syaoran stopped his training and sat down heavily. He reached into his pocket for his handkerchief. Instead of the warm, cotton material of his handkerchief, he felt the foreign feeling of something silky and smooth. It was that ribbon.
This ribbon, and the auburn hair that it held back...
(Daidouji Estate- Laundry Room)
Sakura stared up the moon, daydreaming. She stroked the fang pendant which she had hung around her neck for the time being.
This pendant, those strong arms...
(Jadeite's and Sakura's room)
Jadeite tossed and turned in her bed, unable to sleep. Finally,she threw off the covers and sat crossed legged on the bed. Slowly, under the moonlight, she calmed down. Looking around, she spotted the pair of black tinted shades. Cradling it in her arms, she stared up towards the moon.
These glasses, those luminous blue eyes...
"Achoo!" all four of them sneezed together at the same time.
That was weird...
(Senzai Street)
Somewhere above, two graceful birds were perched on a tree in the middle of the street, in between twoo certain houses. Both were chittering and chirping as if they were laughing at something. They looked at each other, before taking off.
"Hey mommy, there are two birds over there. One's pnk and one's white. I've never seen those types of birds before!" a excited young boy tugged at his mother's sleeve.
The mother smiled and nodded before going back to her work.
The boy continued to marvel at the two birds. Befor they suddenly vanished into thin air. The boy stared open mouthed, and his eyes became as large as saucers.
"Mommy! Those two birds dissapeared into thin air!" the boy jumped up and down, trying to get his mother's attention.
"Stop talking nonsense." his mother reprimanded, sending the boy to bed.
Up in the sky above, the stars and moon shined down merrily as if knowing a secret. Let me share you one this. Those two birds were the birds of hope and love. Two mischevious pranksters who sometimes brought embarassing moments and interesting scenes. And our four heroes have become the new targets of these two fun lovers. Things were going to get interesting...
